February 2010
One Tree Yoga will be donating 10% of
proceeds from all pass sales during February to CARE Haiti and
Partners for Health. You can read more by clicking on the charity
names, and can even make a direct donation either through the link

One Tree Yoga is hosting a "Yoga-thon"! Complete the yoga
challenge, and help others at the same time! Proceeds donated to

The local
homeless shelters are feeling the effects of the recession.
They have all been over full for months. Please help us to get them
the
supplies and money they need. We'll be delivering your donations now
thru
December. Please see the flier for more information. Others need

September
Global Mala Event on September 26th with benefits donated towards
Off the Mat Into the World and Project Hunger.
August
We are joining the Operation Iraqi Children (OIC) and American
Airlines
team! Please donate any children's' school supplies and we'll get
them to
the drop off point with OIC. Then American Airlines will get them
straight into the hands of children in Iraq. See the

June
Improve a
child's life with books! Donate new or used children's books and
we'll find them a new home. Drop off children's books at either
location and we'll get them donated to any one of several children
and family service organizations. See the

May
One Tree
Yoga is delighted to introduce La Tienda. A small non-profit, grass
roots org established in the Dominican Republic helping women work
their way out of poverty. The women are taught how to make beautiful
crafts...jewelry, paper, hand bags, candles and other fun stuff. The
items are made with love and hope. We are proud to offer them thru
our yoga shala. Please visit the studio to see the goods. View the

April
In April, One Tree Yoga is helping to keep Omaha's recreation trails
clean!! We're teaming up with "Keep Omaha Beautiful", and will be
picking up trash on two trails this month. Please see the

March
In
March
we are collecting yoga mats
to donate to the "Your Mind is Your Shelter" project, offering yoga
in Omaha's homeless shelters. Please bring in any new and gently
used yoga mats and One Tree Yoga will get them into the right
hands! See the
